The Director of Undergraduate Admissions focuses on developing and executing initiatives to attract, recruit, and enroll a diverse and talented student body. The role requires expertise in enrollment trends and market research, along with strong leadership skills to motivate and guide a team of admissions professionals. The Director ensures that the admissions process is fair, transparent, and in compliance with university policies and regulatory requirements. This position is ideal for a dynamic and innovative leader who is passionate about higher education, student success, and fostering meaningful relationships with prospective students, families, and educators. Key Responsibilities * Develop and refine review policies to assess applicants based on academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, leadership potential, and personal qualities. * Ensure high levels of customer service and responsiveness in all admissions interactions. * Develop and oversee the budget for the admissions office, ensuring responsible allocation of resources to maximize outreach and enrollment impact. * Oversee and manage all undergraduate recruitment efforts, including high school visits, college fairs, on-campus events, and virtual outreach programs. * Ensure a positive and engaging campus visit experience, including tours, open houses, and admitted student events. * Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of admissions criteria and make data-informed recommendations for improvements. * Recruit and retain top admissions professionals to ensure a high-performing team. * Work closely with financial aid, academic departments, student affairs, and other university offices to support prospective students throughout the enrollment process. Education * Master's degree in higher education administration or a related field. * Prior experience in university admissions or enrollment management. * Must be able to lift 10 pounds.
