Growing affordable housing property management firm in the DC/MD area is looking to bring on a Director of Property Accounting. In this role, the Director of Property Accounting will oversee a team of accountants, maintain the financial records and reporting for the company portfolio. Candidates should have experience interacting with key stakeholders, overseeing multiple entities and leading financial operations for a growing organization.

What You'll Do:

• Oversee financial reporting, general ledger management, and account reconciliations
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
• Collaborate with ownership groups, investors, and internal teams to drive financial accuracy and insights
• Lead the year-end audit process and manage regulatory compliance
• Develop, mentor, and inspire a high-performing accounting team
