Summary
Title:
Director, Program Management
KBR is seeking a Director, Program Management to provide senior-level leadership and interface with Government sponsors for the C-UXS program. This position involves guiding strategic direction, ensuring policy formulation and adherence, and providing operational guidance. The Director will serve as a programmatic and technical advisor, attending meetings and briefings with senior Navy leadership and delivering briefings as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide business unit leadership and day-to-day operations of multiple programs/projects of various sizes.
* Operations may include, but are not limited to, engineering, logistics, reliability & maintainability, and laboratory oversight. Oversee and approve task planning on several large projects; approve resource requirements and effort estimates; establish direction for functional team and direct reports across a suite of projects to balance priorities; responsible for project data integration and tracking of financials, quality levels, and implementation of corrective actions based on variance and critical path analysis for the entire portfolio. Balance customer expectations with internal business goals.
* Support senior leadership with strategy development and execution for year-over-year growth that exceeds corporate peers.
* Assist in developing a roadmap and strategic direction that aligns with customer goals.
* Identify opportunities on various contractual vehicles matching corporate discriminators and experience with contractual requirements.
* Assist in developing solutions and winning strategies.
* Work with customers to initiate digital engineering use cases for further development in a digital engineering lab environment.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Citizenship & Clearance: US Citizen; Top Secret Clearance
Education & Experience:
* BS / BA Engineering, Sciences, or Other Related Program Field and at least 12 years of directly related experience. In lieu of formal education, 20 years of directly related experience.
* Extensive Program Management Experience and increasing leadership responsibility.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced Degrees (M.S. / MBA) preferred
Preferred cross-functional and business experiences
* Program (Portfolio) Management of multiple programs and projects
* Strategy Development aligned to future Navy objectives
* Growth/Business Development activities to develop discriminators and expand the business base
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week.
Work setting: Office
Travel: 15%
Compensation: $195,700-$293,600. The salary range posted is based on the national average. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
