Director, Pricing and Contract Operations

Greater Philadelphia or Boston (on-site 3 days a week)

A rapidly growing, Specialty Pharmaceutical company with a recent, successful launch is seeking an experienced Pricing and Contract Operations individual to join their organization. This position will be crucial in overseeing both the strategic and operational aspects of pricing, contracting, and government compliance for the Market Access team, ensuring alignment of greater business goals and regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of contracting strategies, overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, including offer evaluation, financial modeling, negotiation, execution, and performance monitoring.
  • Support the development of GTN forecasts, through analyzing pricing and contract data, while working with the Finance and Forecasting teams to provide insights into rebate liabilities, accruals, and discount programs for forecast, budget, and monthly close projects.
  • Identifying key drivers of GTN variance to recommend adjustments that optimize pricing and contracting strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with government pricing programs, manage the calculation and reporting of government price points, and stay updated on legislative changes.
  • Act as a liaison between diverse cross-functional teams to align strategies to maximize revenue opportunities and resolve operational challenges while ensuring overall compliance with industry standards.


Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree is required in the following or related areas: Finance, Economics, Business Administration. (MBA/Advanced degrees are preferred)
  • 8-10 Years of experience in pricing, contracting, or related market access positions within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Expertise in GTN forecasting and managing government pricing programs, and a strong comprehension of pricing strategies, contract management, and government compliance within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with different teams/levels within the organization while exhibiting strong leadership skills.
  • Proven experience leveraging data and analytics to make advanced decisions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
