Summary

The Operations Academy ensures that leadership and team members are equipped to efficiently deliver high quality, customer centric services, especially as new technology processes are implemented. It empowers Operations colleagues to unlock their potential for business success, career progression, and personal well-being.

The Director of Operations Learning Academy will set a learning strategy that aligns with LSEGs talent management framework and values. Key focus areas include:

  • Identifying Critical Skills: Pinpointing key current and future operations skills and capabilities, with a strong emphasis on new technologies and operational practices.
  • Developing Learning Curriculum: Crafting comprehensive learning curricula and delivery platforms that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Building Partnerships; Partnering with the Operations Leadership team and People Partners to ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Measuring Success: Developing outcome-based metrics to evaluate the efficiency of all learning initiatives.

Responsibilities:

You will be accountable for identifying future skills and capabilities needed for continued transformation, in partnership with Operations leaders, and build development initiatives to grow those skills

  • Leadership: Directly lead a distributed team of learning professionals continuously maintaining high standards for learning delivery, adoption of industry-leading methods and learning impact assessments.
  • High-Performance Culture: Deliver a high-performance Operations organisation through deployment of learning pathways that support deep expertise
  • New Technologies: Ensure strong future focus through identification of new technologies and processes that will be central to LSEG Operations future success
  • Industry Trends: Leverage latest learning industry trends and technologies to enable and equip the team to support business priorities and professional development of colleagues.
  • Certification: Develop significant partnerships with learning providers and educational institutions to offer certified expert-level learning programs..
  • Continuous Learning: Champion and promote a culture of continuous learning and development

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience leading Human Resources, Learning & Development, or People Development Consulting functions.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Education, or Program Management
  • Demonstrated success in building and delivering a comprehensive global learning strategy, resulting in measurable improvements in colleague performance
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder relationship skills, with a consistent record of partnering with senior business leaders to drive pivotal initiatives
  • Extensive knowledge of industry standards and best practices in learning and development
  • Understanding of operations practices including business processes improvement, operational management, and performance management
  • Strong interpersonal skills with all levels of staff with clear verbal and written communication
  • Excellent planning, administration, and organization skills, ensuring seamless execution
