Job Description:

Required Skills & Experience:

• 12–15 years of overall experience with at least 5+ years leading offshore technology teams.
• Proven success leading cross-functional teams (Development, Product, QA) of 20+ engineers.
• 3+ years directly interfacing with clients, validating requirements, and ensuring delivery excellence.
• 5+ years' experience working in an onshore-offshore model, owning offshore leadership and coordination with onsite customer teams.
• Strong hands-on coding expertise in Java and TypeScript.
• Strong working knowledge of React.js and front-end engineering practices.
• Solid experience in building and designing scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS or GCP.
• Expertise in Infrastructure, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, including Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.
• Ability to perform architecture reviews, deep-dive code reviews, and mentor engineers across backend, frontend, and cloud disciplines.
• Deep understanding of Microservices, REST APIs, Event-Driven Architectures, and Modern Cloud Practices.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills; excellent communicator across technical and business audiences.
• Ability to drive engineering best practices, processes, and high-performing team cultures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical leader and hands-on architect for offshore engineering teams.
• Lead end-to-end client technical engagements from pre-sales through delivery and post-deployment support.
• Mentor, coach, and upskill engineers across backend, frontend, and DevOps/cloud practices.
• Write code, perform complex debugging, do technical deep-dives, and resolve blockers when necessary.
• Define and oversee technical delivery plans, sprint execution, resource planning, and project health metrics.
• Drive technical excellence in solution design, code quality, infrastructure setup, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate closely with onsite leads, product managers, and clients to ensure technical solutions align with business goals.
• Promote a culture of technical decision-making, ownership, and innovation within the offshore team.
• Influence internal best practices, engineering standards, and contribute to evolving the product/solution roadmap based on real-world delivery insights.
• Handle risk mitigation, technical escalations, and ensure client success with strategic planning.
