Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive security strategy that aligns with organisational goals and industry best practices.
• Lead the security team in ensuring the safety of personnel, assets, and visitors, maintaining a secure and welcoming environment.
• Implement and manage security policies, procedures, and protocols to prevent and address security breaches, theft, and vandalism.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend proactive measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security needs for special events, VIP visits, and emergency situations.
• Manage security technology systems, including surveillance cameras, access control, and alarm systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Oversee investigations of security incidents and breaches, coordinating with law enforcement and legal authorities as needed.
• Provide leadership in crisis management and emergency response, ensuring effective coordination of security personnel and resources.
• Develop and deliver security training programs for staff to promote awareness, preparedness, and adherence to security protocols.
• Stay updated on emerging security trends, technologies, and regulations to proactively adapt security strategies.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in security management roles, preferably within the hospitality, corporate, or similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of security practices, protocols, technology systems, and risk management.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to manage and motivate a security team.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks, make informed decisions, and implement corrective actions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to handle crises and emergencies with composure.
• Detail-oriented approach and a commitment to maintaining accurate security records.
