Compensation Range: $150,000 - $180,000
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Director of Sales, Managed IT Solutions, plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our IT group by leading and managing a team of IT sales professionals. This position is responsible for developing strategies, building and mentoring team members, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets in IT assessments, penetration & vulnerability assessments, governance, risk and compliance assessments, and ultimately managed IT services. We value innovation, creativity, and a disciplined focus on putting our clients first, and this role will exemplify and reinforce these principles across the team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coach and mentor IT sales professionals to develop their skills, build client relationships, and meet performance goals.
Monitor team performance and provide actionable feedback to ensure consistent improvement and alignment with organizational objectives using Usherwood’s management process.
Develop and implement sales strategies that align with company goals and market opportunities.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate success and adjust plans as needed.
Participate with marketing to coordinate educational events for prospective clients within all focused markets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing or related preferred.
Sales experience required with 3-5 years of sales leadership/management role.
Knowledge of the managed IT services market, competitive landscape, and relevant IT certifications a plus.
