The Opportunity:

In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the client's engagement with key players in the chemical, oil & gas, and process sectors. Leveraging your deep understanding of chemical engineering principles and the EPC landscape, you will cultivate long-term partnerships, identify and secure new opportunities, and strategically align our engineering and digital solutions with our clients' critical business objectives. What You'll Do:

  • Strategic Client Leadership: Serve as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for executive-level stakeholders at our key chemical industry clients, fostering deep, enduring relationships built on mutual value and trust.
  • Business Development Visionary: Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the chemical and process sectors, effectively articulating the value proposition of our comprehensive engineering and innovative digital solutions.
  • Solution Architect: Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to gain a profound understanding of their strategic priorities, operational challenges, and regulatory landscape, translating these insights into tailored engineering service offerings that deliver measurable results.
  • Project Success Advocate: Partner seamlessly with our talented delivery and technical teams to ensure the flawless execution of projects, consistently exceeding client expectations for quality, budget adherence, and timely completion.
  • Revenue Growth Driver: Diligently monitor account health, including accurate billing, revenue recognition, efficient collections, and robust pipeline management, to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
  • Market Intelligence Expert: Continuously analyze industry trends, evolving customer needs, and competitor strategies, proactively identifying opportunities to offer innovative and impactful solutions that maintain our competitive edge.
  • Account Expansion Catalyst: Strategically identify and cultivate opportunities for growth within existing accounts, leveraging your understanding of their business to upsell and cross-sell relevant services across their capital expenditure (CAPEX), operations, and compliance functions.


What You'll Bring:

  • Extensive Experience: A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in engineering service sales or strategic account management, with a significant focus on the chemical, oil & gas, or broader process industries.
  • Deep Domain Expertise: A strong academic foundation in Chemical Engineering, Process Plant Engineering, or a closely related discipline, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of process industry operations and challenges.
  • EPC Ecosystem Acumen: In-depth knowledge of the EPC ecosystem and a proven track record of successful engagement with major EPC companies such as Worley, Wood, Fluor, and similar organizations.
  • Project Lifecycle Familiarity: Demonstrated experience supporting a wide range of greenfield and brownfield infrastructure projects, including refinery upgrades, plant sustenance initiatives, and other complex engineering engagements.
  • Proven Sales Mastery: A demonstrable history of successfully selling complex engineering services (not just products) to sophisticated clients within the chemical and process sectors, with expertise in leading contract negotiations and delivering compelling presentations to executive audiences.
  • Strategic and Analytical Mindset: The ability to align service offerings with clients' overarching business strategies, navigate evolving regulatory requirements, and contribute to their operational improvement goals. Exposure to the integration of digital technologies in chemical operations (e.g., advanced instrumentation, control systems, asset performance management) is a significant advantage.
  • Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, coupled with the ability to build rapport and effectively manage relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong Commercial Acumen: A keen understanding of business drivers, financial principles, and the ability to guide internal teams towards successful and profitable project outcomes.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
  • Significant experience directly managing accounts and selling services to clients within the chemical, oil & gas, and process industries.
  • Familiarity with various engineering services delivery models, including effective collaboration across onsite and offshore teams.
  • Willingness to travel as required to nurture client relationships and pursue business development opportunities.
