Board is looking for a resourceful and experienced Director of Product Marketing to grow our Financial Performance and Analysis (FP&A) business and ensure that a cohesive solution marketing strategy helps us meet or exceed revenue objectives.
In this role, which reports directly to the VP of Product Marketing, you will partner with Demand Generation, Field Marketing, Product Management, Solutions, and Sales to deliver compelling, differentiated solutions messaging for FP&A that translates into marketing campaigns, ABM and Sales plays that drive brand awareness, pipeline development, and sales success for new logos and existing customers.
Responsibilities:
- Successfully build and deliver the FP&A Strategic Marketing Plan to the extended marketing and cross-functional teams
- Understand the buying process and buyer personas for FP&A purchases and translate that into successful Go-To-Market (GTM) marketing strategies to communicate the value of Board’s FP&A solution effectively
- Own the FP&A messaging and positioning to ensure customers understand the unique value proposition of the solution on the Board platform
- Craft and deliver compelling customer-facing assets including FP&A event keynotes that highlight the unique value and capabilities of the solution on the Board platform
- Drive awareness, adoption, and pipeline for the FP&A solution on the Board platform
- Lead the launch process of new products, capabilities, and releases for FP&A, managing cross-functional teaming
- Collaborate with sales and partner function teams to ensure messaging, assets, enablement plans are in place
- Partner with product management to align on long-term solution strategies and influence the FP&A solution roadmap, aligning to the Board platform roadmap
- Serve as an evangelist for FP&A Thought Leadership through blogs, social media, and speaking engagements
- Engage regularly with cross-functional working groups (including Solutions, Content, Design, Demand Generation, Field Marketing, and Sales Enablement) to orchestrate the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, ABM and sales plays for FP&A
- Analyze marketing performance for FP&A to identify gaps and improvement opportunities and develop corrective actions to meet corporate objectives
- Assist with Customer interviews in the case study development process to demonstrate the value created by Board’s FP&A Solution
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a B2B Product Marketer with proven experience in SaaS/Enterprise software. Experience in FP&A with the EPM/CPM market is preferred
- Ability to create clear, compelling messages and build external assets and internal deliverables
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact and collaborate across cross-functional teams and partners
- Highly proactive, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high growth company
- Strong cross-team collaboration skills and comfort with high-visibility initiatives
- Exceptional written communication and presentation skills to educate and inspire small and large audiences
