The Director of Product Management, Distributed Products, is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and management of both specialty and commodity building products within the distribution business. This role leads a team of Product Managers charged with optimizing the product offering in the distribution portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving profitable growth. The role reports to the Vice President of Distribution.

Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for specialty and commodity products, focusing on market expansion, product innovation, and competitive positioning.
- Supplier and Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and site managers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to drive business growth.
- Product Portfolio Management: Oversee the management of a diverse product portfolio, including non-wood siding and trim specialty products and commodity products sold across distribution markets.
- Profitability and Risk Management: Grow commodity volume and margin dollars while managing risk of significant market losses through the cycle.
- Market Analysis and Insights: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, providing actionable insights to inform product strategies.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and track performance metrics to measure the success of product initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

- Extensive experience in product management, including large account buying and/or selling.
- Proven track record in managing supplier and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong focus on profitability, risk management, and financial performance.

Compensation : This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $157,000 - $236,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 25% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target. This position is eligible to be nominated for an annual long term incentive grant as well. The grant guideline for this position is $51,000, with a range of zero to 150% of the guideline amount. The value of long-term incentive grants is typically delivered in restricted stock units.

Paid Time Off or Vacation : We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours
