Summary

Position Summary The Director of Operations Technology is a leader responsible for driving scalable, tech-enabled solutions across Warner Pacific's operational teams. Acting as the primary liaison between Operations and IT, this role ensures the timely delivery of automation initiatives, workflow enhancements, and strategic process improvements. With deep expertise in operations environments, Agile methodology, and enterprise systems, the Director leads initiatives that transform service delivery, improve productivity, and enhance the broker and client experience. In addition to project execution, this role will support cross-functional collaboration and help foster strategic internal and vendor relationships. Key Responsibilities Technology & Process Enablement * Lead the development and execution of technology-driven solutions that streamline operational processes, reduce manual effort, and improve service efficiency. * Translate operational needs into requirements for IT teams and provide hands-on oversight of project implementation. * Act as a key stakeholder for automation initiatives, digital transformation projects, and enterprise platform enhancements. * Champion and apply scaled Agile methodology for initiative delivery; manage product backlogs, sprints, and feedback loops when applicable. * Leverage data and analytics to guide strategy, measure outcomes, and adjust initiatives to drive team performance. * Explore and apply AI/ML use cases in operations, including workload forecasting, intelligent routing, broker segmentation, and anomaly detection. * Report project progress from inception to delivery, ensuring transparency and accountability across functions. * Ensure alignment of operational technology initiatives with Warner Pacific's growth strategy and evolving business needs. Operations Leadership & Execution * Support multiple operational teams across functions, ensuring consistent standards and operational excellence. * Back up other department leaders when needed and foster collaboration across functions. * Conduct performance reviews, support staff development, and oversee training plans. Partnerships & Strategic Influence * Build and maintain strong business relationships with key internal partners, particularly our product and engineering organization. * Collaborate with HR on employee relations and talent initiatives as needed. Skills & Qualifications * Deep operational knowledge with strong fluency in the technology tools, platforms, and systems that power service organizations. * Strong experience with Salesforce and/or CRM platforms used in the employee benefits distribution space. * Proficiency in using operational data and analytics to guide team performance, process redesign, and strategic decision-making. * Familiarity with AI/ML applications in operations, such as workload forecasting, intelligent routing, and anomaly detection. * 8+ years in Director-level roles (or higher) leading large operational teams with a heavy focus on digital transformation and process improvement. * Experience in Agile or Scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe), including sprint planning, product backlog management, and iterative delivery. * Strong business acumen paired with the ability to translate between operations and IT stakeholders. * Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects involving automation, systems integrations, and workflow redesign. * Product management experience is highly preferred, particularly within operational or service organizations. * Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. * Ability to balance strategic priorities with day-to-day execution, ensuring outcomes that are cost-effective, timely, and user-centered. * Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience; relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, SAFe Agilist) are a plus. Compensation * Annual Salary Range*: $133,000 - $145,000 per year * Actual compensation may vary from posting based on work experience, education and/or skill level. * * The hourly or salary range is the range Warner Pacific in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. The Company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
