The Director of Office Operations is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of the Bangalore office, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving continuous improvement. This position provides direct oversight of both the Office Operations and Human Resources teams and collaborates closely with department leaders to foster a productive, compliant, and people-first work environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with senior leadership to align operational and HR practices with broader organizational goals.
- Analyze and report on key operational and HR metrics to inform data-driven decision-making.
- Lead and/or support cross-functional initiatives related to workplace culture, DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), and employee experience.
Operations
- Lead and manage all aspects of office operations, including facilities management, administrative services, vendor relationships, and technology coordination.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that improve operational efficiency and workplace productivity.
- Ensure office systems, supplies, and infrastructure are aligned with organizational goals and operating smoothly.
Human Resources
- Supervise the Human Resources team, providing leadership in HR strategy, compliance, and policy development.
- Support recruitment and retention efforts by ensuring a seamless and inclusive hiring process, onboarding, and employee engagement programs.
- Oversee performance management processes, employee relations, training and development, payroll and benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on HR and employee-related matters, supporting conflict resolution and employee well-being initiatives.

Professional Background
- Prior experience in a leadership role (e.g. Operations Manager, HR Manager, or similar roles)
- Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, including HR professionals, office operations, and support staff. Strong mentor and coach.
- Operations Management: 10+ years of experience managing office operations
- HR Leadership: 8+ years of experience in human resources, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and compliance management
Education: Business Administration, Human Resources, Operations Management, or a related field. Professional certifications in either HR and/or Operations are beneficial but not required
Key Skills: Expertise in process optimization, employee engagement strategies, recruitment, and training. Experienced in driving cost savings while enhancing operational efficiency.
