The Director of Operations at Barton Supply plays a key leadership role in overseeing all aspects of the company’s manufacturing and supply chain operations related to rebar, structural steel, and construction materials. What You’ll Do

• Lead day-to-day operations across rebar, steel fabrication, and supply distribution.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, procurement, and project management teams.
• Drive quality, safety, and production efficiency while hitting cost and delivery targets.
• Develop strategic plans to scale operations and support Barton’s long-term growth.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team focused on execution and accountability.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in operations or manufacturing leadership (construction supply or steel/rebar strongly preferred).
• Proven ability to manage budgets, optimize resources, and lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of supply chain, inventory control, and production planning.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and manufacturing tools.
• A hands-on, collaborative leader who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Operations, or related field required; MBA preferred.
• Strategic training and development experience, with a people first culture that ties into the overall organizational strategy.
