What you'll be doing: * Oversee the maintenance and operations of all IT systems, including servers, networks, cloud infrastructure and applications * Ensure the security and integrity of all IT systems and data * Develop and implement IT policies, procedures and best practices to enhance operational efficiency * Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems to ensure functionality and efficiency; lead initiatives to drive innovation and modernization throughout business operations * Lead and manage the IT operations team alongside the IT Manager; provide guidance and support to ensure optimal performance while fostering a culture of continuous learning * Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software; control budget and report on expenditures * Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, risk mitigation strategies and regulatory compliance * Provide technical support and training to employees while demonstrating excellent customer service Here's what you'll need: * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred * Minimum of 15 years of progressive IT operations experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role * Experience managing IT in a global, multi-office environment * SQL database experience, a plus * Strong technical skills, including proficiency of IT infrastructure, systems, analysis, implementation, cybersecurity and best practices * Expertise in risk management and compliance * Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively * Experience in budget management and resource allocation * Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on client and customer experience * Ability to adapt to dynamic situations and offer prompt assistance as required * Availability to work overtime and be on-call as necessary to meet workload demands or perform system updates outside of regular business hours What we offer: * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * Paid parental leave * 401K match * Short- and long-term disability * Volunteerism opportunities and support * Paid personal time * Paid holidays * Paid floating holiday * Signing bonus * Flex spending account Other Requirements/Work Environment: * Overtime may be necessary as workloads dictate, including weekdays and weekends * Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer * The individual may be required to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb or kneel for extended time periods * Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds * May need to travel occasionally to various office locations Salary Range: up to $175k annually. Compensation will be dependent upon the individual's education, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, Baskervill offers a monthly bonus program. No agencies please.
