Job Title: Director of Government Contracts Company: Neal R Gross & Co Location: Washington DC Metro Area - this is a hybrid role that will require someone to be in the office 3-4 days a week. The office is located at 1716 14th St NW Ste. 200, Washington, DC 20009. Neal R. Gross and Co. is a leading Court Reporting and Transcription services company headquartered in Washington DC and have provided nationwide services for more than 45 years. Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Director of Government Contracts to manage and oversee government contracts for our digital court reporting services reporting to our Senior Vice President of Operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the government procurement process, including RFP (Request for Proposal) development, submission, and pricing negotiations. This role requires advanced Excel skills for pricing modeling, and a proactive approach to strategizing growth in addition to identifying, responding to, and managing government RFPs. The Contract Administrator will also play a key role in implementing efficient processes for contract management and reporting. Experience with government contracting agencies is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Government Contracts Management: * Oversee and manage all aspects of government contracts from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions. * Act as the main point of contact for government contracts, ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders. RFP Development & Submission: * Identify relevant government RFPs through various government portals and databases. * Develop, prepare, and submit proposals, ensuring that all requirements are met and proposals are submitted on time. * Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and documentation for RFP submissions. * Negotiate contract terms and pricing with government agencies. Pricing Modeling: * Develop and maintain pricing models using advanced Excel skills, ensuring that pricing is competitive and aligned with company objectives. * Analyze financial data, especially unit economics, of our contract to inform budgeting and pricing strategies for government proposals. Process Implementation: * Develop and implement standardized processes and procedures for contract management, including monitoring contract performance, renewals, and amendments. * Ensure that all contracts are managed effectively, minimizing risk and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Business Development Support: * Collaborate and coordinate with the business development team to identify opportunities for new government contracts and opportunities. * Contribute to the strategic planning and growth initiatives related to government contracts. * Assist our Business Development planning activities in creating reasonable growth targets.
