Position Summary
Cold Spring School seeks a strategic and relationship-focused Director of Enrollment Management to lead the school’s admissions, enrollment, and retention efforts. This key leadership role is ideal for someone who is passionate about progressive education and excited to share the Cold Spring story with prospective families. The Director of Enrollment Management will oversee a mission-aligned enrollment strategy, from first inquiry through re-enrollment, ensuring a warm, inclusive, and informative experience for families.

As the first point of contact for many families, the Director of Enrollment Management will be a visible, thoughtful ambassador for the school and a collaborative partner in building the future of Cold Spring School.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead the school’s strategic enrollment and marketing plan
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective families and community partners
- Coordinate tours, events, and outreach that authentically reflect the CSS mission
- Oversee the full admissions process, including applicant visits and decision-making
- Lead re-enrollment strategies and collaborate with the communications team
- Manage the financial aid process with clarity and equity
- Partner with the Director and leadership team to support institutional goals
- Serve as Chair of the Admissions Review and Financial Aid Committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, communications, or a related field; master’s preferred
- 2–5 years of experience in school admissions, enrollment, or a similar role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management ability
- Data fluency and experience with CRM or admissions platforms
- Warm, welcoming presence with a passion for child-centered education
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
