Position Overview: Overview: Capital Health is seeking a visionary and collaborative leader to join our IT leadership team as the Director of Data, AI & Product Development. In this high-impact role, you will lead enterprise-wide data, artificial intelligence, and in-house product development initiatives to transform patient care, streamline operations, and position Capital Health as a future-ready, data-driven health system. Now, we are creating a new leadership role to unify data, analytics, AI, and product development under one strategic umbrella. What You Will Do: * Build and lead a multidisciplinary team including data engineers, BI developers, report writers, and application developers * Define and execute the enterprise data and analytics strategy, including cloud data architecture, ETL modernization, and analytics platform development * Guide responsible AI strategy and governance, ensuring ethical, secure, and compliant implementation of machine learning and automation solutions * Partner with clinical, operational, and business leaders to prioritize use cases, deliver business intelligence, and co-develop actionable insights * Lead internal product development efforts for solutions such as Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), Hospital at Home, FHIR-based APIs, and workflow automation tools * Coach and develop a high-performing, collaborative team committed to innovation, continuous learning, and healthcare impact Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred) * 7-10 years of progressive experience in data analytics, software development, or AI leadership * Experience implementing modern data platforms (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Snowflake, Databricks) and cloud-native architectures * Knowledge of healthcare data and interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, and HIPAA compliance * Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver impactful products in a complex, regulated environment Preferred Qualifications: * Healthcare experience highly preferred * Experience with data governance and responsible AI frameworks * Familiarity with project management and agile development methodologies Why Capital Health: * Be part of a growing, mission-driven health system that is investing in technology and people * Work directly with executive leadership to shape organizational strategy * Build a high-impact, innovation-focused team from the ground up * Enjoy a hybrid work environment with flexibility and autonomy Ready to make a difference?
