As a leader in our field, we are seeking a highly skilled Director of Culinary Implementation to drive change through continuous improvement and strategic initiatives that achieve tangible financial and operational outcomes. This pivotal role will collaborate directly with senior leadership, including the SVP of Strategy, Operations & Analytics, Division President, Regional Vice Presidents, Corporate Executive Chefs and Standards team to drive national performance initiatives and scale best practices across our operations.

Summary:

As the Director of Culinary Implementation, you will play a key leadership role in shaping the future of TouchPoint Support Services. You will partner closely with senior culinary and operations leaders to implement emerging technologies, drive performance excellence, and scale innovative solutions. This position is part of a newly established team focused on implementing change at scale — from modern kitchen technologies like UNOX EVEREO to refined culinary standards that elevate performance and client satisfaction. Your strategic insight, change management skills, and operational rigor will help ensure sustainable success nationally. Key Responsibilities:

Operationalize Culinary Technology:

  • Initially focused on UNOX EVEREO (hot fridge) deployments nationally to expand use as a core component of our standardized operating platform for current and future business.
  • Take ownership of new culinary deployments to ensure they meet or exceed targeted operational and financial targets.
  • Implement, educate and train operational and culinary leaders nationally to ensure effective implementation and continuous performance improvement.

Culinary Excellence:

  • Centered on culinary rigor ensuring our standards are established and met, developing new processes to foster continuous improvement in culinary and operational performance.
  • Ensure best practices are identified and scaled nationally.
  • Assists in implementing Corporate and Regional programs based on Corporate and Regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement operational plans and systems to ensure that all contractual obligations are met.
  • Provides training programs to assure consistent, high-quality food at the accounts.
  • Ideate, test and iterate new processes, technologies, and concepts to scale nationally to include in our standardized operating platform.
  • Assists in roll-out of new products or programs as required.
  • Support new business growth.

Leading Critical Business Conversations and Analyses:

  • Work closely with the SVP, culinary and operational leaders to drive strategic discussions.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses that address crucial business challenges, uncover opportunities, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial and operational goals to exceed client expectations.

Strategizing Data Product Adoption:

  • Spearhead the adoption of operational & culinary data products throughout the organization.
  • Act as a bridge between departments, understanding their unique needs, and ensuring that solutions align with overall business objectives.
  • Drive the evolution of data products, leveraging insights to boost operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Culinary Arts Degree from a recognized culinary school (i.e. CIA, Johnson and Wales) or BS Degree in Hospitality Management.
  • 7 years of progressive food service management experience may be substituted for a degree. Culinary Arts or BS Degree plus five (5) years of progressive food service management experience, two (2) of which were preferably in a multi-unit setting.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a culinary or operational leadership role, with a focus on strategic financial initiatives and driving tangible outcomes.
  • Strong culinary, operational and financial acumen.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing culinary and operational technologies and processes.
  • Experience in driving cross-functional projects and collaborating with various departments to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset, capable of identifying business opportunities and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, fostering teamwork, and empowering team members to excel.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
