What to expect.
The Director of Corporate Giving is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring a comprehensive corporate giving and sponsorship program for Sheppard Pratt. This role includes developing strategies for the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies of corporate partnerships. The Director will oversee the strategy, messaging, and execution of print and digital communications that support the corporate giving and sponsorship campaigns.
Specific responsibilities include:
Customer Relations
- Enhances Sheppard Pratt’s initiatives to meet the needs of various stakeholders, including patients, families, donors, and community partners.
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with corporate representatives, donors, trustees, staff, and other key groups.
- Networks and represents Sheppard Pratt at local and regional events.
Planning
- Collaborates with the Senior Director of Institutional Giving to identify and develop corporate prospects, creating tailored messaging plans and producing corporate giving materials in partnership with designers and the marketing department.
- Utilizes upgrade techniques to increase corporate support, while researching new opportunities and maintaining strong communication with current and prospective corporate donors.
- Establishes goals, benchmarks, and budgets for the corporate giving program, and manages corporate sponsorships for select events, including solicitation and stewardship.
Donor Administration and Management
- Effectively manages a portfolio of prospects and donors.
- Plans, implements, and analyzes appropriate solicitation strategies for donors.
Donor Recognition
- Develop and administers a corporate donor recognition program.

The pay range for this position is $93,953.60 minimum to $154,814.40 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.
What we need from you.
- A bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 7 years of non-profit fundraising experience
- Work requires knowledge of fundraising theories, principals, concepts, and techniques, program planning and evaluation.
