General Summary

Lead clinical programming and operations to build effective, sustainable programs. Oversee all clinical programs collaborating with program Directors and the CEO. Drive vision development, streamline programs, identify opportunities, and implement change for growth and sustainability. Ensure program excellence, operational efficiency, and engage directly with the Board of Directors and community.

Experience And Skills

  • 4 years’ experience (at minimum) in supervisory capacity
  • Proven efficacy with program growth
  • Effectively collaborates with staff who treat children and adults with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviors
  • Experience assessing students and developing clinical intervention for students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD)
  • Experience in performance management and supporting colleagues in an intensive treatment environment
  • Demonstrates excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Communicates and collaborates well with team members, school district partners, parents, professionals, and students

Skills And Qualifications

Education:

  • Master's degree (required), preferably in special education, applied behavior analysis, or psychology
  • Professional certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (preferred)

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Program Growth & Sustainability
    • Work with the CEO/leadership team to establish vision and goals for all programs on an ongoing basis
      • Identify opportunities and implement change to maximize existing structures while simultaneously managing the development of additional revenue streams
      • Provide monthly reports on progress and identifies and immediately communicates needs
      • Review metric scoreboard with Program Directors weekly and regularly review status with CEO/Snr Director of Business Operations
    • Analyze existing structures to maximize performance and output for each program
    • Oversee and Collaborate with all Program Directors to drive success within programs
    • Ensure Lakewood center grows to meet its capacity and consistently analyses what capacity means depending on learners’ needs.
    • Ensures consistent initiation and active problem solving.
  • Revenue and Program Management
  • Manage and drive revenue for the sustainability of all programs
  • Develop and manage budgets for clinical programs in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Identify and implement cost-effective strategies to improve program efficiency and financial sustainability.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess program success and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Coordinates with CEO and Snr Director of Business Operations to meet pre-defined metrics for sustainability and growth of existing programs; monthly reporting. Reviews metrics with program directors weekly.
  • Clinical Oversight & Relationship Management:
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight for all programs, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate and provide guidance on complex client cases, assessments, clinical interventions and manage intensive treatment environment.
  • Monitor clinical roles to ensure efficacy; collaborate with CEO when having identified areas in need of change
  • Establish and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and protocols that align with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with IEP Coordinator on clinical adherence to applicable regulations including Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE). Consult on IEP meetings collaboratively and participates directly as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with currently contracted districts and market Firefly services and create broader relationships to diversify and grow district contracts
  • Support program directors and clinical staff in addressing complex client cases and clinical challenges.
  • Ensures the efficacy of key clinical roles in the organization to drive clinical excellence and reports to CEO if/when changes need to occur.
  • Maintain team morale, and high performing and supportive culture for professional growth
  • Rules and Regulations:
  • Coordinates with appropriate team members to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, accreditation requirements, and licensing standards.
  • Oversee the implementation of quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution
  • Collaborate with the CEO, Snr Director of Business Operations, and other leadership team members to develop and implement the organization’s strategic plan.
  • Align clinical operations with organizational goals to ensure long-term growth and sustainability.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the industry and recommend strategic adjustments accordingly.
  • Lead innovation efforts to enhance program offerings and expand services to meet community needs.
  • Additional Coordination as required:
  • Oversight of development and coordination of research efforts where appropriate.
  • Coordinates directly with the Director of Development to ensure grants and fundraising efforts are maximized and supports the Development team directly to ensure that all grant reporting and activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Reports clinical progress and challenges to the Firefly Board of Directors as requested by CEO.
  • Attends Firefly board meetings and builds relationships with Firefly board members and committees as needed.
