As Director of Clinical Informatics and Insights, you'll bridge the gap between healthcare operations and technology innovation. You'll leverage your deep understanding of electronic health record (EHR) systems and data analytics to deliver actionable insights to clients while simultaneously shaping our product roadmap. This dual focus makes you both a trusted advisor to clients and a key strategic voice within the company.

Phrase Health is a venture-backed and NIH-funded health technology company that turns clinical data into actionable insights for health systems seeking to streamline clinician workflows and reduce variation. Born out of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, our company democratizes access to EHR data, enabling meaningful interventions such as alerts to doctors and nurses. With a growing customer base of over 70 hospitals and a new round of NIH funding, we aim to connect complex clinical data sets with real-world results. 

The Director of Clinical Informatics and Insights role is for someone who wants to be on the front lines of healthcare innovation, who cares deeply about clinician experience and patient outcomes, and who is motivated by connecting with customers to drive value.

Key requirements for the role are:

• Deep expertise of the electronic health record system (particularly Epic) 
• Experience evaluating clinical decision support within the EHR
• Deep expertise with SQL 
• Comfortable with Python or similar language
• Clinical Informatics certification
• Experience with client success in health technology and growing client relationships

Nice to haves:

• Clinical degree (MD, RN, PharmD, or other)
• Experience with marketing, sales, and healthcare technology adoption
• Product management experience using Agile methodologies
