The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Director of Business Development to join our leadership team and drive strategic growth initiatives. This role is essential in identifying new revenue channels, managing our rep and partner network, and building new strategic partnerships within the manufacturing and sourcing sectors.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships
  • Lead and manage independent sales representatives and house accounts
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis
  • Develop marketing strategies and materials (print and digital)
  • Present business proposals, reports, and performance forecasts
  • Define and track KPIs to ensure strategic goals are met

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Demonstrate curiosity and adaptability in exploring client-specific solutions
  • Possess technical and sales experience relevant to global sourcing and supply chains


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years’ experience in business development or strategic partnerships in manufacturing, sourcing, or aftermarket sectors
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Deep understanding of market trends and competitive dynamics


Preferred:

  • Experience with global sourcing and diverse manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with quality management systems or regulatory compliance
