As Director, Marketing - Residential Care Software (MatrixCare), you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that spans the entire customer lifecycle-from awareness through to advocacy. You will lead a talented team, collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and customer success teams, and play a key role in driving the company's growth and market position. This is a high-impact role where you will work closely with executive leadership to shape the marketing vision and ensure all initiatives align with our company's goals.
Let's talk about Responsibilities
* Full Funnel Strategy: Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies across the full funnel, from brand awareness and lead generation to customer engagement and retention.
* Product Marketing: Partner closely with product, sales and other stakeholders to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement tools that highlight the value of our solutions to our target audiences.
* Demand Generation & Capture: Lead the strategic development of effective lead generation campaigns to build a strong sales pipeline, ensuring quality and quantity of opportunities across all channels. Partner with revenue marketing teams to monitor campaign performance and optimization to achieve business goals
* Event marketing: Develop a strategy to maximize the ROI for user conferences, industry and state events based on lead generation & customer retention goals.
* Customer Retention & Advocacy: Collaborate with the customer success and product teams to create retention programs that engage existing clients, upsell new features, and promote customer advocacy.
* Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics tools and data insights to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, measure ROI, and continuously optimize performance. Provide regular reporting on key metrics and KPIs to leadership.
* Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability to ensure all team members reach their full potential. Implements organization strategies through the effective direction and management of employees and resources.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives and create a seamless customer experience from acquisition to retention. Interacts internally and externally with executive level management.
* Communication skills: Exhibit strong communication skills with the ability to deliver engaging presentations to large audiences.
Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience
Required:
* 15+ years of experience in B2B marketing with deep experience in SaaS marketing with a strong preference for experience in healthcare and/or EHRs.
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
* Leadership: 8+ years of management experience leading & developing marketing teams, managing budgets, and delivering business results.
* Strategy & execution: Proven experience developing & executing marketing strategies to achieve key metrics throughout the entire marketing funnel (lead generation to customer retention)
* Product Marketing: Experience partnering with product, sales and other stakeholders to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement tools that highlight the value of our solutions to our target audiences.
* Data Proficiency: Strong analytical skills to assess and communicate insights, driving strategic adjustments.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in executive messaging and team leadership.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with diverse teams and driving projects using a shared services model.
* Other: Ability to travel < 20%
Preferred:
* Deep understanding of the post-acute care industry and its unique challenges and opportunities (preferred, but not required).
* MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate's geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
Base Pay Range for this position:
$175,000 - $218,000 - $262,000
For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based the candidate's geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
