We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director, Integration Platform & Shared Service Delivery to lead two critical teams within our API & Integration function: the Integration Platform team and the Shared Service Delivery team.

This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, people leadership, and operational discipline. You will oversee the enablement of our modern integration platform capabilities, drive high-quality shared service delivery, and ensure alignment with enterprise priorities through effective planning, execution, and performance management.

As a key member of the API & Integration leadership team, you will partner closely with the AVP, API & Integration to shape roadmaps, manage team capacity and financials, and drive enterprise integration outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Delivery Management

  • Lead and grow two teams: Integration Platform and Shared Service Delivery.
  • Define and execute team roadmaps in alignment with the enterprise integration strategy.
  • Prioritize team backlogs and manage delivery milestones and capacity planning.
  • Lead release management for integration platform capabilities and shared service deliveries.
  • Drive high-performance team culture through clear expectation, effective performance management and continuous coaching.
  • Foster collaboration across teams to enable delivery of secure, scalable, and reusable integration capabilities
  • Influence and align with vendor and internal roadmaps to support integration platform evolution and future state planning.
  • Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging experimentation, identifying emerging integration trends, and driving adoption of new technologies that advancing platform capabilities and service delivery.


Platform Ownership

  • Own the platform lifecycle and ensure its scalability, reliability, security, and compliance.
  • Lead the evolution of the enterprise Integration Platform, including Apigee, Kafka, and cloud-native services.
  • Oversee the development of reusable frameworks, self-service tooling, and automation for API and event integration.
  • Ensure the platform is scalable, reliable, and secure to meet current and future needs.
  • Establish and manage production support model for integration platform, ensuring defined SLAs and operational excellence
  • Partner with architecture and product stakeholders to shape the technical roadmap and investment priorities.
  • Define and enforce integration platform governance, standards, and best practices for development, deployment, and operations.
  • Ensure integration platform documentation completeness, including ABOR ( Application Book of Record) records and configurations responsibilities


Shared Service Delivery

  • Oversee delivery of reusable APIs, events, and GenAI integrations that support multiple domains.
  • Promote consistent design patterns, reusable assets, and governance compliance in shared delivery.
  • Ensure definition and adherence to SLAs for shared service support and incident handling.
  • Collaborate with business-aligned teams to support high-quality integration implementation
  • Guide the shared service team in backlog prioritization, delivery estimation, and initiative planning.
  • Lead operational support of shared service including incident, problem, and change management workflows.
  • Track and report on shared service throughput, quality metrics, and usage analytics.


Operational Excellence

  • Manage team financials including budgets, license usage, platform consumption, resource planning, and vendor engagements.
  • Own team-level financial tracking and cost efficiency in collaboration with the AVP. Proactively identify cost optimization opportunities while maintaining service quality
  • Ensure stable BAU operations and support for both the integration platform and shared service delivery.
  • Ensure CAB/TAB attendance and compliance for all applicable platform and shared service changes.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, security, and architectural standards.
  • Define and enforce SLAs, disaster recovery ( RPO/RTO), and availability targets in line with enterprise standards.
  • Build strong relationship with business and technology stakeholders to ensure platform and shared service alignment with needs
  • Promote a customer-oriented mindset across operational support activities.


Qualifications

Must Have

  • 10+ years of experience in integration, software, or platform engineering roles.
  • 4+ years of proven people leadership, including performance management and team development.
  • Experience managing technical roadmaps, backlog prioritization, and delivery tracking.
  • Strong hands-on background with modern integration patterns and platforms (e.g., APIs, Kafka, microservices, cloud-native integration).
  • Demonstrated experience with release management and leading technical delivery teams.
  • Experience with financial planning and tracking for technical teams or platforms.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, Anthos, or AWS EKS.


Nice to Have

  • Experience in Gen AI integration and data streaming.
  • Experience working in regulated environments (insurance, financial services, etc.).


Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
