What you’ll do as a Director, Employee Relations & Complian

  • ceDevelop and execute an Employee Relations & Compliance plan aligned to enterprise-wide strategie
  • s.Ensure that the confidentiality of all information and transactions regarding the company, its clients and its employees are held to the highest level of business ethic
  • s.Oversee the company’s Ethics and Compliance Program including oversight of the Investigation team; conducts complex investigations as neede
  • d.Assist HR and leadership in documenting investigations and ensuring outcomes are addressed through meaningful actions. Supports handling of disciplinary actions, including documentation, oral and written warnings, and terminations as neede
  • d.Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop staff to ensure team’s activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently and according to relevant regulations, laws, and standard
  • s.Identify key metrics for the organization’s compliance functions; assess the organization and team’s performance based on these metric
  • s.Regularly meet with senior leaders regarding reported issues, investigation outcomes, and trends within the busines
  • s.Partner with the Marketing & Communications team to ensure options for accessing HR and reporting concerns are broadly available to our highly distributed workforc
  • e.Maintain in-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws, regulations, and HR trends to help reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory complianc
  • e.Maintain, develop, recommend, and implement program objectives, policies, and procedur

  • ld.12+ years of progressive experience in human resources including leading investigations, managing complian
  • ce.Minimum of five years leading multi-disciplinary teams in Human Resources, Employee Relations, and/or HR Complian
  • ce.Thorough understanding of employee relations best practices, as well as applicable policies, and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulatio
  • ns.Working knowledge of multiple disciplines within human resources including talent acquisition, compensation, and talent manageme
  • nt.Exhibits a high level of confidentiality and discretion, including handling sensitive reports and informati
  • on.Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skil
  • ls.Experience working with distributed workforce, across multiple states and jurisdict
  • ionFlexibility to travel domestically up to 25% of the time. Travel required to the corporate office once a month for a week at a t
