Our client – a privately owned, well-established consultancy headquartered in the USA, with offices across the US, India, and the Philippines – is looking to expand their presence in the Middle East and is seeking a Structural Director to lead the charge in setting up and growing their new Dubai office.

About the Role:

As the Structural Director, you will play a pivotal role in launching and leading the Dubai office. You’ll work closely with the global leadership team to develop the local business, win projects, and build a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the establishment and growth of the Dubai office
• Win and deliver high-quality structural engineering projects in the UAE
• Build and lead a local team of talented engineers
• Represent the business in the region and strengthen its market presence
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver projects and develop client relationships

About You:

• Chartered Structural Engineer (MIStructE or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5 years operating in the Dubai engineering consultancy market
• Strong local client network and proven ability to bring in new work
• Ambitious, entrepreneurial, and keen to shape the future of a business
• This role may suit a seasoned leader ready for a new challenge or an aspiring Associate Director who feels held back from progression
