The Role
As a Chapter Leader, Fidelity Institutional Data Analysis and Insights Chapter you will combine deep business and product strategy skills, knowledge of customers and financial products, and technology expertise, with a passion for mentoring and developing our associates of the Data Domain. Do you want to lead the team building next gen data and analytics solutions?
You will be responsible for leading domain level initiatives like driving learning journey, leading innovation initiatives like hackathons, developing standards and best practices and others. You will be working with associates mentoring and guiding through their career journey and helping them grow with their career aspirations This role will enable you to pursue the above exciting responsibilities and more as you build and grow the chapter servicing the Data Domain.
This position will be based in Smithfield, RI or West Lake, TX or Boston, MA.
The Expertise And Skills You Bring
Education
- Bachelors or equivalent Degree with 12+ years of experience or a Master’s Degree with 10+ years of relevant work experience with business intelligence and analytics solutions
Experience
- Outstanding leadership, communication and influencing skills and can foster a fun, collaborative and upbeat team environment
- Good Exposure to Analytics tools and environments such as Tableau, Alteryx and Snowflake Data.
- Ability to provide continuous mentorship, real-time feedback and development opportunities to a team of about 8-10 associates with Data Analytics Background
- Advanced degree and/or certification in relevant subject area (e.g., analytics, computer science) is preferred
Skills
- Consult and partner with Product Area Leads on opportunities for improving the business strategy, associate management and agile delivery.
- Define learning curriculum to support the further development of the expertise and skills needed to maintain FI’s competitive advantage
- Collaborating with squad leaders to supervise performance and refine skills of chapter members
- Agile knowledge and experience preferred; skills development work experience a major plus
The Team
The Data Analytics & Insights chapter is part of the FI Data domain. You and your chapter members will be embedded into Squads and Product Areas using data to drive analytics and insights. This is an exciting role for someone who wants to mentor and lead others and build relationships!
