BCI is seeking to fill one Director, Business Development position to support all current and future Divisions of BCI with opportunities to expand our portfolio.

Experience Required:
This position requires a business or technical degree from an accredited institution. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience with the government proposal process, leading and writing multi-million dollar proposals. Required experience includes Capture Management, managing new business pipelines in Salesforce or other CRM solutions, developing and conducting Gate Reviews, and executing Shipley proposal processes. Required experience also includes expert level familiarity with GovWin IQ and similar government procurement software. Preference will be given to prior military. Demonstration of the Description of Duties is required.
Description of Duties:
The Director, Business Development will undertake a variety of activities which include but are not limited the following:
* Identify, evaluate, pursue, and nurture strategic relationships and business opportunities with partners or potential customers. Maintain a close relationship with existing customers.
* Develop a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting. Research and analyze current and future business opportunities
* Coordinate and negotiate with BCI's Divisions to implement marketing initiatives.
* Acquire new customers, retain and expand existing customer relationships.
* Assist with the sales of products and services by investigating and resolving customer problems, recommending modifications to the product/service line, and coordinating sales negotiations with appropriate personnel.
* Responsible for meeting sales volume and revenue goals and standards for activity, such as number of sales calls.
* Develops and uses contacts and relationships within the industry, business environment, and customer base to understand and respond to competition, pricing, and product demand changes.
* Assist and/or lead proposals within BCI's proposal process guidelines.
* Maintain awareness of BCI's capabilities and track potential conflicts of interests.
* Collect data and prepare analyses of partnership performance, sales, and other metrics to evaluate returns, ensure alignment, and recommend adjustments to strategy.
