Job Overview:

Service Disabled Veterans Oasis (SDVO) is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves working in a variety of settings, including assisted living facilities, memory care units, and in-home care environments.

This is a 90-day contract position with SDVO under a 1099 status, after which successful candidates will transition to a full-time W2 role directly with the client. While contracted with SDVO, you will be paid on Net 30 terms based on a two-week billing cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders
• Provide emotional support and companionship
• Monitor and promptly report changes in physical or mental condition to healthcare professionals
• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
• Encourage and facilitate participation in recreational, educational, and community activities

Qualifications:

• Experience in direct care, senior care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
• Ability to deliver compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic cooking and household management skills
• Familiarity with patient monitoring or care documentation is a plus
• You must have a clean U.S. driving history for the past 3 years – no exceptions
• Valid driver’s license required
• No Felonies (No Exceptions)
