The Digital Strategy Director develops and executes comprehensive digital strategies to drive business growth. They lead cross-functional teams to integrate digital marketing, technology, and data insights. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and project management skills. The goal is to drive business growth, enhance brand awareness, and improve digital customer experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Strategy Lead in a team composed of digital, social, media planners, and data analysts servicing the different business units of TBWA/SMP. 
2. Core functions: 

• Digital Strategy: Design of digital and experience plans for campaigns and other projects. 
• Media Planning & Buying: Development of media plans and implementation of digital media buying and optimization 
• Social Strategy: Defining roles and identifying opportunities in social media platforms
• Data & Analytics: Processing of digital data, analysis, and reporting to develop new consumer, media and tech insights. Ability to use data to power creativity and add value to executions/innovations. 
• Innovation Strategy: Can provide innovative and data-driven solutions that meet client and agency objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Mastery of Paid-Owned-Earned approach to digital channel planning 
2. Mastery of paid digital media management (at least of the mainstream platforms Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, Search, Display) 
3. Intermediate understanding of data processing and analytics techniques and tools. 
4. Strong understanding of current and emerging social and tech platforms and how these can help meet client objectives.
5. Disruptive mindset to recommend new innovations that improve customer experience and add value to clients.
6. Big picture thinking: Can give valuable insight and ideas on ideas and solutions beyond the expected.
7. Experience in CRM is a plus
