About the Role

Salary: £35-45k DOE

We are a specialist ecommerce agency focused on Shopify web design, SEO and paid media. We work with established brands to improve their online performance through high-quality design, development and marketing execution.

We are looking for a capable and confident Digital Project Manager to take responsibility for our active web projects and ongoing marketing retainers. You’ll work directly with our development, design and marketing teams to ensure work is delivered on time, to a high standard, and with excellent client communication.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growing agency environment and is comfortable taking ownership of delivery across multiple service lines.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management (Web Design & Development)

• Work with sales to create clear project scopes prior to work beginning
• Oversee the day-to-day management of active Shopify web projects
• Coordinate internal and freelance teams to ensure clear responsibilities, deadlines and deliverables
• Act as the main point of contact for clients during active projects
• Maintain project timelines, track progress and proactively address any risks or issues
• Manage the QA and pre-launch process, ensuring smooth deployment and sign-off

Delivery Oversight (SEO & Paid Media Retainers)

• Manage the delivery cadence of our SEO and PPC accounts
• Ensure consultants are delivering to agreed scopes and timelines
• Monitor the quality and timeliness of outputs, providing internal feedback where needed
• Run monthly check-ins and client updates, ensuring clear communication of performance and priorities
• Escalate any issues or concerns early, with proposed solutions

Process & Operations Support

• Identify and improve weak points in delivery systems or workflows
• Create templates and checklists to standardise delivery and increase clarity
• Support the development of reporting dashboards and tracking systems to monitor performance and client satisfaction
• Contribute to internal process documentation as we scale

Requirements

• 2–4 years’ experience in a digital project management role, ideally agency-side
• Experience managing website builds and/or ecommerce development projects
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Clear and confident communicator, both with clients and internally
• Proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving
• Comfortable managing multiple concurrent workstreams
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Asana or similar)
• Strong communicator — keeps everyone in the loop without being chased
• Comfortable pushing back on clients (when needed) with tact and professionalism

Desirable Experience

• Prior exposure to Shopify development projects
• Understanding of SEO and PPC workflows
• Experience working with remote or freelance delivery teams
• Familiarity with basic technical concepts (e.g. CMS platforms, front-end structures, analytics tools)
