Pitch is delighted to support this national trade business with multiple branches across the UK as they look for a Digital Product Copywriter to join the digital team.This role requires someone who has worked within a digital copywriting role previously, with an understanding of product attribution and SEO.

Responsibilities in the role:

• Take ownership of updating product copy daily using the CMS on Magento 2.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure that all new products have the correct photographs and descriptions to be used on the site.
• Edit and proof copy sent through by suppliers as well as writing some product descriptions from scratch.
• Manage all product attributions and upload new products/remove discontinued products from site.
• Work with SEO team to ensure that product descriptions are optimised.

Experience needed:

• Previous experience in a product copywriting role.
• An understanding of SEO would be beneficial.
• Strong communication, both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail.
• Ideally some experience within an eCommerce environment and previous use of CMS.
• Previous experience or an interest in construction, interiors, trade retail etc. would be highly beneficial.
