About the Role
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Performance Strategist to lead the charge on client results, campaign strategy, and creative quality across the agency.
This role is a mix of strategic leadership and executional precision. You’ll be the one ensuring our work doesn’t just get delivered—it gets results. That means reviewing campaigns, refining copy and design, leading performance reviews, and turning big-picture goals into clear, actionable steps for the team.
We’re also transitioning to a niche focus on local home service companies (painters, roofers, HVAC, etc.), and this role will be central to that shift—helping ensure our work is not only effective, but repeatable and scalable within that market.
You’ll collaborate with design, content, SEO, and paid ads teams to align execution with strategy, and serve as the final quality check before work goes out. If you’ve got a sharp eye for creative, a strong sense of what makes marketing perform, and the confidence to take ownership of client success—this role is built for you.
Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy & Client Performance
- Lead performance reviews for active client accounts—identifying wins, gaps, and next-step optimizations
- Develop and refine quarterly and monthly marketing strategies that drive measurable results
- Ensure client campaigns are aligned with the right goals, messaging, and conversion tactics
- Own the performance side of the client journey—ensuring we don’t just deliver work, but deliver outcomes
- Collaborate with team leads across ads, content, SEO, and design to bring campaign plans to life
Creative & Content Oversight
- Review and refine website copy, ads, emails, decks, and deliverables before they reach the client
- Approve or revise Figma designs and landing pages based on UX, hierarchy, messaging, and brand tone
- Improve creative consistency across deliverables using checklists, standards, and internal playbooks
- Act as the final quality filter before anything goes out—holding the line on clarity, simplicity, and conversion potential
Systems & Strategic Alignment
- Translate broader goals into action: build frameworks, refine workflows, and bring structure to creative chaos
- Work cross-functionally to improve how we onboard clients, track performance, and report progress
- Build internal resources (e.g., strategy templates, messaging frameworks) that help the team deliver better, faster
- Support client-facing strategists and account managers by helping them interpret data and refine execution
Ideal Candidate Profile
- You’re a mix of strategist, editor, and operator. You don’t just talk about great marketing—you know how to spot what’s working and improve what’s not.
- You’re confident making creative decisions, skilled at communicating strategy, and obsessive about results. You’ve worked in an agency, likely managed campaigns end-to-end, and know how to bring together content, design, and paid media into a unified performance strategy.
- You’re not afraid to make the call on messaging, rewrite a headline, or rework the flow of a landing page. You move between strategy and execution with ease—and you make the work better without needing constant input from leadership.
- You’re not just a thinker—you’re a doer who can make decisions, shape execution, and push a team toward results without needing hand-holding.
- This is a role for someone who takes ownership, raises the bar, and thrives on driving real performance.
