Digital Hardware Design Engineer (m/f/d)

What Will Expect You In This Role

• Development of electrical and optical devices
• Special focus on digital hardware and optical electronics
• Building up of a deep technical understanding in mixed circuit design and optical electronics
• Layout of complex PCBs
• Simulation of digital circuits
• Documentation of development results
• Bring up and test of prototypes
  
  

What You Can Contribute

• Completed studies in electrical engineering or communications engineering
• Knowledge of high speed serial interfaces
• Knowledge about electromagnetic interference and compatibility
• n-depth experience in the field of digital circuit design, RF engineering and optical communication
• Knowledge of simulation programs (e.g. Xpedtition Hyperlynx)
• Experience in complex PCB layout is of advantage
• Good knowledge of English
• Initial work experience in the above-mentioned areas is preferred, but not essential if relevant experience is available, e.g. from internships, thesis or other projects
