The Role



The Digital Event Manager is responsible for planning, producing, and executing high-quality virtual events, ranging from simple webinars to complex, multi-day digital experiences. This role requires a tech-savvy event professional with a deep understanding of digital platforms, virtual audience engagement, and the end-to-end lifecycle of digital events

As a strategic partner to internal stakeholders and external clients, the Digital Event Manager ensures flawless execution of virtual events through strong technical knowledge, planning, communication, and post-event analytic

es:Pre-Event Planning & Strat

  • egyCollaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define event goals, target audience, content strategy, and platform requiremen
  • ts.Select and manage virtual event platforms including but not limited to Zoom, Webex, Cvent, ON24, Hopin, and Tea
  • ms.Build and manage registration pages, email communications, and event websites using tools like Cvent or similar CMS platfor
  • ms.Develop and execute technical rehearsals and dry runs with presenters, moderators, and production teams to ensure seamless executi
  • on.Provide consultation on optimal format, run of show, and user experience for digital environmen

Event Execu

  • tionServe as the technical lead and showcaller during live virtual events—manage speaker transitions, media playback, attendee engagement tools (polls, Q&A, chat), and troubleshoot technical issues in real-t
  • ime.Oversee audio-visual elements, including microphone and camera checks, lighting recommendations, and slide managem
  • ent.Ensure presenters are spotlighted appropriately, graphics and lower thirds are timed correctly, and all visual elements align with brand guideli

Post-Event Manag

  • ementCollect, analyze, and report on key event metrics such as attendance, engagement, retention, and survey feed
  • back.Make data-driven recommendations for continuous improve

Required Skills and Qualifica

  • tions:3+ years of experience managing digital events, virtual conferences, webinars, or hybrid experi
  • ences.Proven hands-on experience with multiple digital platforms (e.g., Zoom Webinar/Meetings, Webex Events, Cvent Attendee Hub, ON24, Teams Live Events, H
  • opin).Strong knowledge of technical event production, including audio, video, screen sharing, breakout rooms, and live broadca
  • sting.Experience developing run of show documents, cue sheets, and speaker briefing mate
  • rials.Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication s
  • kills.Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight dead
  • lines.Familiarity with KPIs, metrics, and reporting tools to evaluate event perfor
  • mance.Comfort working both independently and collaboratively with global and cross-functional
