Based in Ireland, Studyclix helps Junior and Leaving Cert students achieve their potential. We provide students and teachers with innovative exam preparation tools and exam-specific content.
We are looking for a
Digital Content Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the educational resources we provide to students and teachers. You will take charge of initiating and delivering new content projects while also ensuring our existing content remains high-quality and up-to-date.
What You’ll Do:
In your role, you’ll lead and collaborate across various teams to produce engaging educational content. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
- Lead and manage content creators and designers to develop educational resources, including quiz questions, videos, podcasts, blog articles, and more.
- Research, define, and gain approval for the scope of each content project you oversee.
- Review, proof, and test digital content before launch, ensuring accuracy and usability.
- Delegate tasks to team members, managing processes and workflows to keep projects on track.
- Direct and participate in formatting, proofreading, and uploading content to relevant platforms.
- Communicate project updates with the team, identifying and solving any roadblocks.
- Collaborate closely with social media, development, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive content production (note: this is not a content creation role for social media).
- Maintain and update content management documentation, continually seeking process improvements.
- Provide input on new tools and technologies for content creation, helping to streamline processes and suggesting ways to improve efficiency.
As part of this role, you’ll report to the
Head of Product and collaborate with the overall content team to ensure all content production and maintenance processes are efficient and effective. We’re always looking for ways to leverage new technology, so a willingness to embrace system updates and utilise AI tools is key. Your insights and suggestions on how to improve our processes will be highly valued.
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in content management.
- Experience in creating and managing content at scale, ideally with a company that produces a high volume of digital content.
- Proficiency in Google products (Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc.).
- BA/BS degree.
- Experience using digital tools for communication and work management (e.g., Slack, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, Confluence).
- Strong skills in copywriting and content production.
- Familiarity with AI tools for content creation (whether in a personal or professional capacity).
- Experience with the Irish Leaving Certificate (ideally, you’ve taken it and can empathise with the student experience).
- Tech-savvy, with a knack for using technology to deliver digital content efficiently.
- Strong team player who can bring out the best in others.
- Comfortable suggesting and implementing process improvements to enhance workflow and productivity.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and consistency.
- Creative problem-solver with excellent time management skills to juggle multiple projects.
- Excellent written English, ensuring high-quality output with minimal errors.
Preferable:
- Experience using a Content Management System (CMS).
