Our local government client is looking for a digital content manager to lead a website refresh project! This is a part time, fully remote freelance role, 10-15hrs per week for about 9 months.

In this role, the digital content manager will be responsible for:

• Curating, organizing, and optimizing website content for clarity, consistency, accessibility, and public engagement
• Migrating content, editing existing materials, and assisting with developing user flow with UX best practices and analytics, and ensuring consistency with existing branding standards
• Understanding of UX and user flow
• Working within CivicPlus platform
  
  

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Experience in content strategy, copywriting, UX design principles, and web content management
• Knowledge of website accessibility standards (ADA, WCAG).
• Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, user-friendly web content.
• Experience in CivicPlus website redesigns is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of local government operations is preferred.
