Working within the Business Operations team, this Digital Communications Specialist role will support the London Stock Exchange Data & Analytics Operations organisation.
The role will also act as a focal point for creative design support for local internal site operations (including posters, collateral and event coverage) where required.
The role requires strong technical and design expertise, using a number of different tools to help tell our business story. We are also looking for interpersonal skills allied to a proactive approach to working.
This role offers opportunities to work on projects for senior D&A Operations leaders, as well as local LSEG site management.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Support D&A Operations teams and local site management by providing design and visualizations for presentations, reports and videos
- Craft high-impact, compelling designs and visualizations, including infographics, presentation documents, digital banners, interactive assets, landing pages, print collaterals, video, and other multimedia forms as needed.
- Develop and maintain our design template library
- Act as an advocate for the LSEG brand, ensuring all materials meet brand guidelines
- Build knowledge of the latest digital communications approaches
Qualifications/Capabilities
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, any field.
- Preferably 1-3 years’ experience within LSEG or relevant industry experience of supporting analysis/business reporting with relevant design approaches
- Strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint experience. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere and other image optimizing applications is an advantage
- Knowledge in Video editing tool and multimedia software
- Knowledge in HTML or Web Designing
- Strong English usage – verbal, written and presentation
- Very strong creative design sense, layout skills, typography skills, and color knowledge.
- Ability to build innovative conceptual designs along with enough flexibility to adapt to existing branding
- Must be self-motivated, resourceful, dynamic (able to respond to changing priorities) and work with minimal guidance within a worldwide team
- Must be prepared to work UK/US hours as and when required.
- Able to work with senior leadership team to help them visualize and design their presentations and reports.
