Position and Team Overview
L.E.K.’s Asia Healthcare Practice advises some of the most prominent organisations across the region, including major multinationals with headquarters and/or significant operations in Asia. Our Partner team has extensive experience across the Healthcare / Life Sciences economy, including in LS / Biotech, MedTech and Healthcare Services.
This role is expected to be collaborating and effectively working on Asia Healthcare consulting projects across Shanghai, Tokyo and Singapore offices to help support them on key deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Primary research logistics
o Supporting case teams by sourcing content experts and key opinion leaders (e.g., by with LinkedIn, expert networks, cold calling, etc.) with customized approaches (e.g., referring to papers he / she has published)
o Internet research to help find contact information for top published experts (e.g., email addresses in medical journals or on hospital websites)
o Ensuring documentation of the L.E.K. expert interviews (e.g., required files, summarized notes)
Secondary research support
o Help case teams to identify secondary research resources that address client areas of interest (e.g., journal articles, marketing / industry reports, government publications)
o Perform basic analysis such as benchmarking, industry profiling, basic market sizing and growth projections
Analysis: modeling/surveys
o Data collection, entry and cleaning to prepare datasets for team analysis
o Reviewing client data to understand gaps in datasets
Slide preparation and quality control
o Creating sophisticated visuals in PowerPoint and other software for consulting teams to use in client presentations
o Collaborating with L.E.K. Graphic Design team to recommend visually interesting layouts for showing complex data
o Capturing high-quality slide visuals from team and converting them into general templates for collection in a repository (e.g., on the firm intranet) for firm-wide use
o Reviewing slide formatting for quality control, making layouts consistent and in line with L.E.K. brand standards (e.g., updating L.E.K. IP to current visual standards)
Case closure support
o Transitioning materials from L.E.K. standards to client templates, as needed
o Preparing redacted versions of materials for delivery to KM
o Preparing PowerPoint release documents for case team to deliver to client
o Facilitating access agreements process for teams interacting with investors (e.g., as part of a due diligence)
o Preparing and collecting document release forms, including Access Agreements for both PowerPoint and Excel materials
