THE COMPANY

An innovative defense-focused technology company building secure, mission-critical systems for government environments. They specialize in deploying and maintaining high-assurance software infrastructure in support of national security objectives.


THE ROLE – DEVSECOPS ENGINEER

As a DevSecOps Engineer, you’ll play a key role in deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining systems in secure cloud-based environments. This position is primarily remote but includes occasional onsite access at the Pentagon (~20%).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deploying and maintaining virtualized products in secure environments
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in live environments
  • Performing installations, upgrades, and log analysis
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to support new initiatives
  • Ensuring systems align with FEDRAMP and other compliance requirements


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Active Secret clearance (or higher)
  • Experience in DoD and secure cloud environments
  • Hands-on with AWS GovCloud (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes (no need to spin up clusters from scratch)
  • Proficiency with Helm and GitHub Enterprise
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently


BENEFITS

The salary range for this role is $180K–$220K with equity and full benefits.
