Auria is actively seeking a DevSecOps Engineer in Orlando, FL, to support the development and deployment of the Wideband Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Trend Analysis & Anomaly Resolution Subsystem (WSTARS). The ideal candidate will perform DevSecOps tasks to deliver a major component of the system used to provide the Department of Defense (DOD) Wideband Military Satellite Communications (SATCOM) satellite network and payload control. Primary work location is Orlando, FL. Occasional travel to customer and government sites is expected with this position.
Essential Functions
* Responsible for developing and enhancing continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) operations in multiple cloud service environments
* Support software quality efforts associated with product deliveries, conduct ongoing lifecycle maintenance of the DevSecOps toolchain, and implement upgrades to the software factory as needed
* Conduct automated system testing, integration, and deployment using DevSecOps tools and methods
* Recommend and implement upgrades and modifications to DevSecOps workflows and tools/products
Basic Qualifications:
* Current U.S. Government SECRET security clearance (required U.S. Citizenship)
* (Engineer Level 3): Bachelor's degree and 7+ years relevant experience,
* Or Master's degree and 4+ years relevant experience
* Experience with a modern software factory's CI/CD processes, tools, and technologies. This includes knowledge of technologies such as Bitbucket, GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, Bamboo, SonarQube, Aqua, Twistlock, Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Docker, or similar tools.
* Strong programming skills in Java, Python, Go, or C++
* Experience using application security concepts and vulnerability remediation techniques
* Experience working within an agile system development framework, conducting engineering tasks for a complex system
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage numerous demonstration events at the same time
* Excellent verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently as well as within a team
* Proficiency with M.S. Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
* Ability to obtain a U.S. Government TOP SECRET security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship)
* Knowledge base of Wideband SATCOM command and control (C2) systems
* Experience with SATCOM systems, products, and interfaces
* Knowledge of secure software development methodologies and implementing full-stack infrastructure with a Security First mindset
* Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team using tools to assist system development, such as Jira and Confluence, is highly desirable
Salary Range: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. ($95,000 - $120,000)
