Position Title: DevSecOps Engineer (Contract)
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the design and automation of complex, scalable applications aligned with business goals.
Optimize software development through secure CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies.
Maintain and monitor cloud infrastructure using platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Apply SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) principles such as reliability, observability, incident response, and performance tuning.
Develop scripts and tools to enhance platform resilience and operational agility.
Lead the implementation of Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform.
Deploy and manage containers and serverless services including Kubernetes (AKS, EKS), Docker, and Azure Functions.
Integrate security controls and ensure regulatory compliance across all systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, Ops, Security) for seamless service delivery.
Translate business needs into technical solutions through effective stakeholder communication.
Document procedures, infrastructure design, and system changes.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and contribute to innovation within the team.
Contribute to the exploration and implementation of AI and Generative AI capabilities in DevSecOps practices.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a DevSecOps or enterprise engineering environment.
Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and system tasks.
Practical knowledge of development frameworks like Java or .NET.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Skilled in using DevOps toolchains (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions).
Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP), including service deployment and architecture design.
Basic understanding of AI and Generative AI technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a learning mindset.
Additional Information
Minimal domestic travel may be required.
Standard professional work-from-home setup required.
Participation in an on-call rotation with the Service Delivery & Operations team may be expected.
