Job Description:

We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Team Leader to join and lead our IT DevOps team. This role combines technical leadership and hands-on development, ensuring that our CI/CD pipelines, automation processes, IT infrastructure, and IT workflows meet the highest standards of performance, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate will manage a team of DevOps engineers while also actively contributing to architecture, implementation, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing technical guidance and mentoring.
  • Prioritize and manage tasks effectively, ensuring project deadlines are met.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement DevOps and IT automation best practices.
  • Drive process improvements and adopt new tools/technologies to enhance DevOps and IT efficiency.
  • Ensure the quality and maintainability of automation scripts, configurations, and infrastructure code.
  • Act as the go-to expert for complex DevOps and IT automation challenges
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and high-quality software delivery.
  • Design and implement automation solutions for software delivery, infrastructure management, and IT workflows.
  • Automate IT processes, including user provisioning, system monitoring, incident response, and cloud resource management.
  • Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to manage and improve infrastructure.
  • Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Monitor and improve system performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices within CI/CD and cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with R&D and IT teams to improve DevOps and IT automation workflow

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
  • Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes & Docker for container orchestration.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
  • Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).
  • Experience automating IT processes such as user lifecycle management, IT asset management, and security compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, security best practices, and system reliability.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset
