Who are we looking for?

We're looking for a DevOps Specialist to join our PH Digital - PnP - Products & Platform team.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Automate build and deployment of Azure services
• Manage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related processes
• Test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning
• Use coding languages or scripting methodologies to solve a problem
• Work with CI/CD tools, and source control such as GIT
• Performs incremental testing actions on code, processes, and deployments to identify ways to streamline execution and minimize errors encountered.
• Perform incremental testing on code, processes, and deployments
• Continuously seek ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production, catching and solving issues before launch
• Stay current with industry trends and source new ways to enhance existing solutions
  
  

What you will bring to the team:

• BS in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent area of technical study (IT experience can substitute for a BS degree)
• Azure Fundamentals certification preferred
• Knowledge of DevOps best practices and IT operations
• Current with industry trends, ability to research emerging technology and make recommendations
• More than two years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role (or similar role); experience in software development and infrastructure development is a plus
• Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies & DevOps principals
• Minimum 3 years working experience with Microsoft Azure SQL Database, APIM, Web Apps, Functions, Logic Apps, Azure DevOps
• Strong experience in Azure Cloud services, i.e., IaaS, PaaS, and deployment via IAC
• Experience with infrastructure automation, including configuration management and infrastructure provisioning using Bicep, ARM Templates or Terraform
• Knowledge of Azure Governance and best practices (RBAC, Networking Architectures, Tagging, Cost Management controls, etc.)
• Strong experience with databases systems such as MS SQL, MySQL, NoSQL
• Strong experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Ruby, Bash, and Perl
• Familiarity with container orchestration services, i.e., Kubernetes
• Familiarity with agile software development in C#, C/C++, Java, JavaScript
• Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Team City and Octopus Deploy
• Experience with project management and workflow tools such as Agile, Jira, Scrum/Kanban, etc.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  
  

Work schedule: Monday to Friday / 8:00 pm to 5:00 am / Hybrid
