Ensure the quality of software implementation and the safety, performance and reliability of integrated software and hardware by active participation in architecture, design and code reviews, unit testing, software debugging, system troubleshooting and overall resolution.
- Lead the effort to implement a modern CI (Continuous integration)/CD ( continuous delivery) /CT ( continuous testing) pipeline working closely with development teams on troubleshooting potential deployment issues, taking into consideration existing system inter-dependencies and regulatory aspects necessary for compliance to the GE Healthcare quality management system.
- Directly contribute to feature implementation related to system integration and CI (Continuous integration)/CD ( continuous delivery) /CT ( continuous testing) process-improvement efforts.
- Influence roadmaps and participate in planning/prioritization activities, coordinate work across multiple development teams.
- Automation: Automate security testing, monitoring, and compliance processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Vulnerability Management: Identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure.
- Education and Training: Provide training and guidance to development and operations teams on secure coding practices and security best practices.
- Tooling and Technology: Evaluate, deploy, and manage security tools such as static and dynamic analysis, dependency checking
- Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related degree within Engineering/IT/Science discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in software development, systems; DevOps/Build & release architecture and design
- Relevant experience of 3 years.
- Technical Expertise :
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms ( Azure).
- Experience with security tools such as OWASP ZAP, Nessus, or Burp Suite.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
Soft Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Desired Characteristics
- Experience with microservices architecture and security.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
- Experience with zero-trust architecture and principles.
- Familiarity with security frameworks
