About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Team Lead to drive automation, scalability, and operational excellence across our AWS-based infrastructure. This role will lead a team of DevOps engineers (including off-shore) responsible for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of infrastructure and deployment strategies in a modern AWS environment
• Manage and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery workflows
• Drive automation, scalability, and reliability across cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes
• Oversee observability practices to ensure system health, performance, and availability
• Champion cloud security and compliance, aligning with best practices and organizational standards
• Balance hands-on technical contributions with high-level strategic planning and decision-making
• Promote DevOps best practices and contribute to the evolution of engineering processes company-wide

Requirements

• 5+ years of DevOps experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Expert knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, EKS, VPC, IAM, API Gateway, etc.).
• Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform & CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (BitBucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins).
• Deep understanding of containers & Kubernetes (EKS, Helm).
• Strong background in monitoring/logging (Coralogix, NewRelic, Logz.io, CloudWatch, Prometheus).
• Experience in securing cloud environments (WAF, IAM, KMS, security scanning).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Go, or similar).
• Proven experience leading and growing DevOps teams.
• Strong communication skills—able to work cross-functionally with developers and product teams.
• A problem-solving mindset with a passion for automation and efficiency.
• Ability to balance hands-on technical work with strategic leadership.
