DevOps Manager - (Russian Speaking) - Trading - City of London - £140,000 + Bonus with Remote Working

Overview:

We have a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest online Trading platforms in the world. This organisation is one of the world’s largest social network for traders and investors with over 90 million users worldwide.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead a globally distributed DevOps team, providing mentorship, performance management, and strategic direction.
• Drive the automation and scalability of secure, highly available cloud infrastructure.
• Partner with development teams to integrate DevOps practices, optimize workflows, and enhance collaboration.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Manage CI/CD and infrastructure tools to automate provisioning and deployments.
• Lead incident response efforts, ensuring rapid resolution and continuous process improvement.

Essential skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Experience leading geographically distributed teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across time zones.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and experience with infrastructure management tools such as Terraform.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining secure and fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor teams, driving performance and collaboration across departments.
• Fluency in Russian is required for effective communication within the team and across the company.

Desirable skills:

• Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments, including IAM, encryption, and compliance standards.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Solid understanding of containerisation and orchestration technologies, such as Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus) for maintaining infrastructure health and performance.
