Position Description

Seeking a DevOps Specialist to manage and optimize on-premises servers in a Windows and Linux environment. Responsibilities include deploying and maintaining microservices, automating workflows, and ensuring system reliability. Must have experience with server migration, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong scripting and troubleshooting skills are required.

Regular Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Server Management: Maintain and optimize on-prem Windows and Linux servers.
  • Microservices Deployment: Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot microservices.
  • Server Migration: Plan and execute on-prem server migrations with minimal downtime.
  • Automation & Scripting: Develop scripts and automation tools for system management.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Maintain and enhance CI/CD workflows for efficient deployments.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure security best practices and compliance with company policies.
  • System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Perform regular health checks and resolve system issues.
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery: Implement and manage backup strategies for data protection.
  • Collaboration: Work with development teams to optimize deployment and performance.

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or a related field) or an equivalent mix of education and hands-on experience.
  • Understanding of:
    • DevOps methodologies and CI/CD workflows.
    • On-premise concepts and technologies.
    • Containerization and orchestration tools.
    • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role.
Mandatory Requirements

  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to work on-site as required.
