Job Introduction

In Cluj we started in 2009 and our local team currently has 190+ colleagues and is growing.

In this position you are part of a highly motivated team that strives to automate and optimize our build and delivery pipeline to the best possible extent. You are responsible for designing and operating efficient mechanisms that enable fast feedback to development teams.

We are developing for a safety critical environment, following industry standards, where high availability and redundancy is a basic requirement.

Key Tasks

• Take part of the System Team consisting Test Automation Engineers, DevOps Engineers
• Setup, run and maintain the CI/CD chain and tooling (incl. deploying to multiple targets)
• Setup and maintain formal test environments
• Support projects utilising X10 in re-using CI/CD chain
• Identify with the development teams automatable processes and automate them
• Collaborate with our platform team (MosaiX) to define and improve interfaces regarding CI/CD
• Support the continuous system level integration of our platform and products
• All tasks will be done keeping in mind that we are operating in a safety critical domain
  
  

Key Qualifications

• Eager for automation (Infrastructure, CI/CD, Test)
• Experience in configuration management and deployment tools (Puppet, Ansible)
• Experience with continuous delivery pipelines and build tools (Jenkins, Maven)
• Experience with network and application monitoring tools (Prometheus/Grafana/ Zabbix) would be a plus
• Scripting experience (Bash, Python, Groovy) and a mindset to treat infrastructure as code
• Understanding and experience of the following core technologies: Linux, Docker, ELK Stack, PostgreSQL, Webservices (JSON/REST API) and network infrastructure (incl. VoIP)
• Ability to feedback positive and negative observations to developers
• Linux (RHEL) deployment and administration
• Good English skills (both written and spoken)
• Experienced with working in an agile team
